With great sadness, we offer our condolences on the passing of the esteemed teacher and noble human being, Dr. Hossein Namatollahi. We pray for abundant mercy and forgiveness from the Almighty for the deceased, and patience and endurance for the respected family.
Hossein Namatollahi, born in 1326 in Mashhad, was an associate professor in the mining engineering department of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tehran. His book "Ore Deposits" was selected as the best book of the year in the Islamic Republic of Iran's eleventh book year by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
Dr. Namatollahi completed his master's degree in mining engineering at the University of Tehran in 1349, and obtained his PhD in mining engineering with a focus on ore deposits from the University of Orléans in France in 1357, before joining the faculty at the University of Tehran.
His works include books on gold mineralization methods, kamoudlan mineralization methods, and ore deposits.
